We'll spend time understanding your pain, your goals, and how your activities in the mountains are being limited. We'll perform a functional movement evaluation to identify movement patterns and strength imbalances that may be contributing to your pain. This isn't a diagnosis—it's a discovery process to determine if strength training can make a real difference for you.
After your assessment, we'll give you honest feedback about whether our strength training approach is the right fit for your situation. If we believe we can help, we'll outline a path forward. If we think you need additional support from a physical therapist or other specialist, we'll refer you to our trusted network of professionals with whom we have a proven track record of collaborating to deliver excellent care.
If you move forward with us, you'll work with coaches who specialize in helping mountain and endurance athletes. We use evidence-based strength training methods tailored to your specific needs and goals. Our approach focuses on building the resilience and capacity your body needs to perform at its best—whether that's trail running, climbing, skiing, or any other mountain sport.
GOT QUESTIONS?
No, I'm not a physical therapist. However, I'm exceptionally skilled at determining whether the tools and methods of strength training can address your pain and improve your performance. My expertise lies in identifying movement patterns, strength imbalances, and how targeted strength training can help you return to the activities you love. When a situation calls for physical therapy or other specialized care, I work closely with a network of trusted physical therapists with whom I have a history of collaborating to provide excellent, coordinated care to our clients. This collaborative approach ensures you get exactly what you need.
That's exactly what the free assessment is for. We'll evaluate your situation honestly and tell you whether we think we can help. There's no pressure, no sales pitch—just a straightforward conversation about your pain, your goals, and whether our approach is the right fit. If it's not, we'll point you toward resources or professionals who can better serve you.
Plan for about 60 minutes. This gives us enough time to really understand your situation, perform a thorough movement evaluation, and discuss recommendations with you.
Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely—athletic wear is perfect. We may ask you to perform some movements during the assessment, so avoid anything too restrictive.
