An 8-week, assessment-driven coaching program designed to help you build a more durable aerobic engine. Identify your current strengths and limiters, complete six weeks of individualized endurance training, and retest to measure exactly what changed.
JOIN THE FOUNDING COHORTMost endurance training is a shot in the dark. You put in the miles, sweat on the bike, and hope your capacity improves. But without knowing exactly what is holding you back — your aerobic base, your ability to repeat hard efforts, or how quickly you recover — you are leaving progress on the table.
The Endurance Lab removes the guesswork. We assess your current physiology, build a roadmap targeting your specific limiter, and retest at the end of 8 weeks to prove the work paid off.
Sustain more work, hold higher outputs longer, and recover faster between efforts.
Stop doing generic intervals. Train the specific physiological quality that is limiting you right now.
Leave the 8 weeks knowing exactly how your body responds — and how to keep developing your endurance long-term.
A two-day assessment on the Rogue Echo Bike to map your current capacity across aerobic base, high-intensity output, repeatability, and heart-rate recovery. Remote athletes complete the same protocol on their available equipment.
Three targeted aerobic sessions per week, built specifically for your individual roadmap. Train in-person at MTN STRNG or independently on your own equipment. Daily readiness check-ins keep the load calibrated to how you are actually recovering.
A two-day reassessment under the same conditions as Week 0. You will receive a full results review showing exactly what changed — and what to focus on next.
Join a coached Lab session at the facility. Sessions are capped at 4 athletes so coaching is direct and equipment is managed in real-time. A few Lab sessions are on the calendar each week — you pick the ones that fit your schedule.
Complete your sessions on your own schedule using whatever cardio equipment you have access to. Your prescription is individualized to your equipment, your limiter, and your daily readiness data.
Commit to the full 8-week timeline — Week 0 assessment through Week 7 retest.
Complete 3 aerobic training sessions per week.
Log your daily readiness with a custom-built web app.
Use a heart rate monitor during every session. Chest strap strongly preferred; optical devices accepted.
Show up ready to work — and willing to give honest feedback as part of this founding beta cohort.
Space is strictly limited to 8 athletes for this initial beta launch. We are not looking for the eight fittest people. We are looking for eight dedicated athletes who will consistently engage with the programming, log their data, and help us test and refine this system.
The ideal founding athlete is already training consistently, has access to cardio equipment, can commit to the full 8 weeks, and is genuinely curious about understanding how their endurance works.
CLAIM YOUR SPOTNo, but it is strongly preferred for the assessment. Remote athletes can use a Concept2 Rower, SkiErg, BikeErg, or Treadmill. The key requirement is that you use the same piece of equipment for your Week 0 assessment, all training benchmarks, and your Week 7 retest.
You need a monitor that records and saves your full workout. A chest strap — such as a Polar H10 or Garmin HRM-Dual — is strongly preferred for accuracy during intervals. Optical wrist or arm sensors are accepted but may lag during high-intensity efforts. If you don't currently own one, expect to spend around $100 for a reliable chest strap.
Yes. Your daily readiness check-ins will help us manage your total training load and ensure you are recovering properly across all your training.
Life happens. We will have a clear protocol for missed sessions. The goal is consistent engagement over 8 weeks — not perfection.
No. The Endurance Lab is designed for any athlete who wants to train their aerobic system more intelligently — whether you are preparing for a mountain race, a CrossFit competition, or simply want to build a more durable engine for the activities you love.
Submitting this form is a no-commitment statement of interest. Once you submit, you will be redirected to a short questionnaire so we can confirm the program is a good fit for your goals, schedule, and equipment. Space is limited to 8 athletes.
