PERFORM

Assessment-led strength onboarding for mountain athletes.

For active skiers, runners, hikers, riders, climbers, and endurance athletes in Salt Lake City who want stronger, more durable bodies for the terrain, volume, and seasons they actually care about.

Why PERFORM exists

Your sport is specific. Your strength training should not be random.

Mountain and endurance sports ask for more than general fitness. Long climbs, technical descents, heavy packs, repeated efforts, long seasons, and unpredictable terrain all place different demands on your body. PERFORM gives active athletes a clearer way to build strength that transfers outside.

More than harder workouts.

The goal is not to make every session exhausting. The goal is to assess what you need, coach it well, and build the strength, capacity, durability, and consistency that help you keep showing up for the mountains.

What the pathway includes

A coached entry point into the MTN STRNG training system.

PERFORM is designed to move you from assessment to individualized coaching to a clear long-term training path. It is the right starting point for active athletes who are ready to train, but want better direction before joining ongoing small group coaching.

01

Assessment-led start

We begin by understanding your movement, training history, current capacity, sport demands, and goals so your first phase of training is based on what you actually need.

02

Coached onboarding sessions

You learn the training system with direct coaching, clear progressions, and enough individual attention to build confidence before moving into the ongoing environment.

03

Transition into small group

PERFORM is built to prepare you for high-touch ongoing coaching, where training becomes consistent, sustainable, and connected to the mountain life you want to keep living.

Who this is for

PERFORM is for active athletes who are ready to build with more intention.

This pathway is a strong fit if you are already participating in mountain or endurance sports and want an assessment-led strength plan that supports performance, durability, and long-term consistency.

  • You ski, hike, run, ride, climb, race, or spend real time in the mountains.
  • You want strength training that supports the demands of your sport.
  • You are tired of guessing what to do in the gym.
  • You want a clear path into ongoing coaching and community.

PERFORM FAQs

Common questions before you start.

If you are interested in MTN STRNG but unsure whether PERFORM is the right entry point, the discovery call is designed to help clarify fit.

Q1

Do I need to be an advanced athlete?

No. PERFORM is for active mountain and endurance athletes who are ready to train with intention. You do not need to be elite; you do need to care about consistency, coaching, and long-term development.

Q2

What if I have an old injury?

Old injuries are common. If you are actively rebuilding, recently discharged from physical therapy, or not confident returning to training, Return to Sport may be a better fit. If you are unsure, we will help you decide on the discovery call.

Q3

Why is onboarding required?

Onboarding helps us assess, coach, and prepare you before you enter ongoing small group training. It protects the quality of the coaching environment and gives you a clearer foundation.

Q4

Is the training specific to my sport?

The strength work is built around the demands your sport places on you, not around random exercises. Skiers, runners, riders, climbers, hikers, and other mountain athletes may need different emphases inside the same coaching framework.

Q5

What happens after PERFORM?

Most athletes transition into ongoing small group coaching after onboarding. That is where training becomes more consistent, supported, and connected to long-term performance and durability.

Q6

How do I find out the investment?
