More individual attention
You work directly with a coach so your starting point, current limitations, training history, and sport goals shape the plan instead of being forced into a generic class.
For mountain and endurance athletes coming back from injury, pain, surgery, physical therapy, or time away, MTN STRNG Return to Sport helps bridge the gap between feeling better and being ready for the demands of the activities you love.
You may have finished physical therapy, taken time away, or worked through pain well enough to return to daily life. But mountain sports ask for more: uneven terrain, long climbs, technical descents, repeated efforts, fatigue, load, speed, and confidence under real conditions.
It is for the athlete who is no longer at the beginning of the rehab process, but also does not feel ready to jump straight into full training, big objectives, or a group environment without a more intentional rebuild.
Return to Sport is a high-touch 1:1 coaching pathway designed to rebuild strength, movement quality, training consistency, capacity, and confidence progressively.
You work directly with a coach so your starting point, current limitations, training history, and sport goals shape the plan instead of being forced into a generic class.
The goal is to rebuild the strength, control, tolerance, and consistency needed before layering in more complex sport or training demands.
As you build readiness, the next step may be PERFORM, Small Group Coaching, or a continued training plan based on your goals and capacity.
Return to Sport may be the right starting point if you want to get back to skiing, hiking, running, riding, climbing, or training, but you know you need more structure and confidence before going all-in.
Return to Sport is coaching, not medical diagnosis, treatment, or a replacement for physical therapy. If you need clinical care, have unresolved symptoms, or have been given medical restrictions, we will encourage appropriate medical or physical therapy guidance before or alongside training.
The first step is not guessing which program you belong in. It is a conversation that helps us understand where you are now, what you want to return to, and what kind of support makes sense.
Tell us what happened, what you want to return to, and what you are unsure about.
We learn your training history, sport demands, current readiness, and goals.
You rebuild capacity progressively with individualized coaching attention.
Training supports better movement quality, consistency, tolerance, and trust.
When appropriate, we help you transition toward PERFORM, Small Group, or continued training.
You do not need to know whether Return to Sport, PERFORM, or another pathway is right before reaching out. We will talk through your goals, your current readiness, and what kind of coaching support makes sense from here.
If you are not sure whether you need Return to Sport, PERFORM, physical therapy, or another starting point, that is exactly what the discovery call is designed to clarify.
No. Return to Sport is coaching, not medical diagnosis, treatment, or a replacement for physical therapy. If you need clinical care or have unresolved symptoms, we will encourage the appropriate medical or physical therapy support.
This is one of the most common reasons athletes start here. Return to Sport helps bridge the gap between being cleared or feeling better and feeling ready for training, terrain, volume, and sport-specific demands.
It depends on what is going on. If symptoms are unresolved, changing, or require medical decision-making, the right move may be to coordinate with a physical therapist or medical provider before or alongside coaching.
Return to Sport is usually the better fit if you need more individual attention after injury, surgery, pain, physical therapy, or time away. PERFORM is usually better for active athletes who are ready for assessment-led onboarding into ongoing coaching.
No. You need to be ready to start where you are. The point is to rebuild progressively so the training matches your current capacity instead of forcing you into a pace, load, or environment that does not fit yet.
Start with a discovery call. We will talk through what you are returning from, what you want to get back to, and whether Return to Sport is the right next step.
